What is Lazy Lazuli’s Traps Mod

Lazy Lazuli’s Traps Mod for Minecraft 1.12, 1.11.2, 1.11, 1.10.2, 1.9.4, 1.8.9, 1.7.10 –

Did you always get annoyed by those curious zombies which kept knocking at your door for no reason when you were having a nice sleep after a day of hard working? That must be so frustrated! You need a way to prevent this thing from happening again. You definitely do not want to get bothered and disturbed for no good reason again, especially by those deadly creature. Lucky for you, Lazy Lazuli’s Traps Mod will help you with this problem. The mod adds various types of trap to your game. Let’s find new ways to rid your home of outsiders.

This mod is meant to be played on version 1.12 of Minecraft. Older Minecraft versions may or may not be updated.



  • crafting ingredient for spike related traps
  • can be crafted with the 5 different tool materials

Stone Variant Slabs

  • craft slabs from Granite, Andesite, and Diorite blocks and their polished variants
  • Polished Granite Slabs are used as a base for Spike Traps

Spike Traps

  • deals damage based on tool material used and enchantments
  • deals damage to
    • entities that fall on it
    • to entities walking on it
  • avoid damage by sneaking
  • takes damage every use (like a tool) and eventually breaks
  • can be enchanted with
    • Sharpness
    • Bane of Arthropods
    • Smite
    • Fire Aspect
    • Unbreaking
    • Blast Protection
  • toggle on/off with redstone
    • toggle multiple traps at once with connected Spike Traps of the same color


  • slabs and spike traps may be dyed like stained glass or wool.

  • Download and install Minecraft Forge
  • Download the mod.
  • Head to %appdata%.
  • Head to .minecraft/mods folder.
  • Drag and put the downloaded jar (zip) file into it.
  • If it does not exist, you can create one.
  • Finish
